Since I don't write here regularly, but actually contribute to other makeup forums I'm going to share some of my replies instead.

THE FACE SHOP

the black label lipstick in soft coral has the best nude lipstick with just the right hint of pink. i'm crazy about it! and to think i just bought several stuff from mac, but i'm raving about the face shop. it's sad that face shop only have few selections in foundations though.

ON ACHIEVING A JUST-BITTEN-STAIN

i've been trying to perfect the just bitten lips for years (around 5 years to be exact). use a lip stain like the ones in body shop, there's also an in2it stain, stainiac in beauty bar, there's also a lip stain in Mimi. or use a wine shade matte lipstick. if you're fair skinned, just use a light hand in dabbing in the middle part of your upper and lower lips then press your lips together to create a natural smudged effect. on the other hand, if you're on the olive-toned or morena side, apply stain or wine tinted lipstick with a heavier hand to give a darker hue that suits a darker skin tone.
if you're going to use a lip stain though one advice is to always keep a lip balm on hand cos lip stains really dries lips. but the effect is natural and realistic so it can get addicting! i can't deviate from the just-bitten-lips look cos it's a great "prettifier"!

CURRENT FAVORITE LIP TREATS

My current fave lippies are:

1. Du Wop Shades of Venom lipstick in Larkspur - it's a sheer spicy everyday lipstick
2. Bobbi Brown lip balm with spf15 - just a hint of color, not too heavy
3. Maybelline Moisture Extreme in Cosy Tangerine- a bit orangey, great for tanned-skin
4. Nichido lip glosses - i have all four of those MAC-dead-ringers! even the packaging is similar to MAC. the ones with natural almost brownish shades. i hope they make more of these! it's so cheapieee only a hundred bucks pa..suits all skin tones
5. The Face Shop Black Label lipstick in Soft Coral - pinkish nudish, very ala Hollywood Red Carpet effect that i've been dying to achieve
6. The Face Shop Black Label Pot Lipgloss in Lovely Pink - natural pink hue with loads of pigment, great for college students cos it's natural for everyday use at school (not too exagg like you just want to look good, but you're also a serious student)
7. elf Plumping Lip Gloss in Ruby Kiss- a great red/wine tone for morenas, plus it's minty and it's a double gloss (downside is mabilis maubos), but a steal for it's cheapy price

It's finally time to update the Lust List! There are so much stuff out there to lust after. As I've achieved some of those in my list (others I find difficult to really get), I've come to the realization that it's time to move on. I guess there will be things that I'll never get to achieve such as becoming president of the Philippines or marrying a real-life prince (as I've already found my own prince charming hihi), although I still am working my ass off to get them. Some things though which others tend to find unreachable that I'm still working on. I'm too driven to be stopped. I try to achieve them, but try my best not to harm anyone or anything in the process (mother nature included). I mean I wouldn't really wrestle someone for the last piece of say, MAC lipglass in the world. Or would I? Oh well, what I'm trying to point at is I just want to dream of my cake, have it, and well eat it too! I love cakes too much to resist eating them! Before I end this, here's a recap of some of the the former mentionables in my list that I've already crossed:

* MaxMara dress * - this has a very light fabric
* gold pumps * -a girl can never have enough pumps
* silver pumps *okay, so there was a metallic pump craze then

* get a tan * - of course heading to the beach is never complete without a tan

* own car * =) - this one makes me blush with pride every time i reminisce how i bought (and bargained) for my own car (a second-hand 2004 1.6G silver altis) at 21 y/o

So there! Those are some of the stuff that used to consist my LUST LiST. Some you may find petty, others brag-worthy, and even life-changing. Time to move on.
