Weight Issues
Posted at 08:26 PM

Last Saturday, I wasn't exactly thrilled to find out that Waffy wanted to meet me. No question about it, I wanted to meet him, BUT there's a small problem - I gained 7lbs during the week. My continuous gluttony wasn't really bothering me, after all I loved to eat, until I weighed myself. In fact, I love to eat too much that I don't know when to stop. I tried to recall what triggered my all-day everyday cravings because I know there's usually a big feast that starts my uncontrollable eating habits. Then it dawned on me. On Father's Day, our family went to Market Cafe at Hyatt Hotel and Casino (http://manila.casino.hyatt.com/hyatt/hotels/entertainment/restaurants/index.jsp). I guess that's it. I blew my perpetual diet. I recall how my younger brother Jem looked horrified as he saw the unusual shape of my tummy during our dinner. He said I looked like I'm about to give birth in a few minutes. I thought, how mean! But when I slowly moved my head to see my tummy I was shocked. I do look like I'm giving birth any minute - to a dinosaur! It was monstrosity at it's peak. I freaked out of course. I couldn't help but give a soft squeal. I wanted to lose weight fast, but didn't know what measure to take. So I just resorted to my ever-reliable weight loss trick - cardio. But knowing my lazy ass self I stopped after 3days. I just kept myself busy, jobhunting and all. I stopped worrying about my weight, how I looked, and how tight my clothes have become. And now it's been almost a week, 6 days to be exact, and I feel perfectly normal, even lighter. I weighed myself after eating lunch earlier today and gasped. I'm back to my normal self without realizing it. I lost 8lbs. by the way.

Take care everyone!
